Grameen Foundation offers many ways for you to use your passion to help stop poverty. We offer exciting and challenging opportunities for volunteers across the globe to become part of the solution.
Bankers without Borders®
We are pleased to announce our newest initiative, Bankers without Borders®. Volunteers will dedicate their time, skills, knowledge and experience to support microfinance and technology sector developments in Asia, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East and in the United States. Whether you choose a U.S.-based opportunity or an engagement in a developing country, you will contribute to empowering the world’s poorest people, most often women, to escape poverty.

What are you passionate about? Be it writing, filmmaking, website development, or getting your friends and family involved, there is an important role for you to play.
Blog about us. Engage your bloggers in thoughtful debate of the issues surrounding global poverty. Telling them about GF’s many innovative solutions to fighting poverty, and invite them to share their own. Check out our resources for bloggers.
Talk about us on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, or other social networking sites. By telling your friend and family about Grameen Foundation, you can raise awareness of the urgency of ending poverty. You can join our Facebook cause, friend us on MySpace, or follow our Twitterfeed @Grameen_Fdn
Make a video telling us why ending poverty is important to you. Post it to YouTube and send it to us, so we can share it with our supporters and post it to our blog.
Send a photo of your travels in a developing country, send it to us and tell us about your journey so we can share your passion with others.
Organize a "Friend"raiser: Raise awareness and funds for Grameen Foundation by hosting a fun event. Learn more and obtain our toolkit, a guide on organizing a successful event.

Grameen Foundation uses microfinance and innovative technology to fight global poverty and bring opportunities to the world's poorest people. With tiny loans and financial services, we help the poor, mostly women, start businesses and escape poverty. Our global network of 55 microfinance institution (MFI) partners including our Growth Guarantee partners has touched more than 34 million people in 24 countries. In addition, we introduced and now sustain technology initiatives (Mifos and Village Phone) in Cameroon, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda, bringing our total country outreach to 28.
